CPR and First Aid for Infants

Infant Essentials is a custom course covering a variety of topics aimed at new and expecting parents, caregivers and anyone who will be around infants and young children.

Performing CPR and administering first-aid to an infant has some significant differneces versus doing it on an adult. Infants small bodies are developing and even their bodily ratios are differnent than those of adults, so naturally there are extra considerations to take into account. It’s vital to be prepared in case the worst happens, and that’s why we developed this course.

We focus initially on a few quick preparatory items and then jump into Infant CPR. From there, we cover a range of infant-centric first-aid topics including choking, drowning, anaphylaxis, falls, burns, seizures, and much more.

This comprehensive 2.5 hour course is ideal for new parents, babysitters, nursery workers, nannies, grandmothers, and interested neighbors and friends – anyone who will be spending significant time around babies and infants!
