Girl learning CPR onlineLearning CPR & First-Aid can take some time.  The classroom course takes about 7 hours.  With this online course, you can learn at your pace from the comfort of your home.  The American Heart Associations eLearning CPR courses are the only ‘online CPR courses’ accepted by employers nationwide.  This is because unlike other online CPR certifications, the AHA course requires you complete a hands-on skills and assessment session in conjunction with the online training.  At the conclusion of the course you’ll receive the exact same CPR card as the classroom course.  There isn’t even an indication that you took the course online because it’s the same course!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to OnlineAHA.org
  2. Click on Course Catalog
  3. Purchase the option that says: Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online Part 1
  4. Do the online course, and save/print the certificate you receive at the end.

After that, we get together and do the skills session (about 30-60 min.).

You can schedule the skills session before or after you complete the online course.
